Asus UX30: Similar Macbook Air

First look at Asus UX30, we immediately thought of the Macbook Air. Section, many similarities between the two. Form chiclet button, large touchpad, and so slim design is the main similarity of both. Asus UX30 weights were only about 1.45 kg, only slightly adrift of the MacBook Air which weighs around 1.36 kg. However, if compared to the MacBook Air, Asus UX30 has a more complete connection. If you open the ports on the left and right, you’ll find a plug HDMI, Ethernet, card reader, 3 USB ports, and mini Display Port.

Why, there is no VGA Out? Actually there is, just have to go through a special converter that is connected to the Display Port. Converter is already provided in the sales package, but it means you have to make sure converter is not left behind if you want to make a presentation.

Another weakness is somewhat disturbing is this notebook battery could not be integrated or removed. This is somewhat difficult because you’re not able to replace the battery at any time or use a spare battery. And with the 3250 mAh battery capacity, this notebook lacks a long breath. When we tested, this notebook lasted just two hours to play HD video and run Battery Eater Classic mode.

But for performance, this notebook worthy thumbs up. Armed with an Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 and 4GB memory, this notebook’s performance is only less than Vaio VGN-TT25GN.

From the first, we were enamored with the UX30 Asus design a chic and modern. Although not original, this notebook will make you look more stylish. Performance was quite good, despite resistance in the battery mode a little disappointing. Asus UX30 own price around U.S. $ 989 without operating system, so a little higher than other thin notebooks.

  1. asus 1002ha netbook review says:

Personally I think that the Asus N10e is an underated netbook, it has all of the specs of the similar lines, with the addition of the fingerprint reader. Most people don’t realize how great that little utility is, especially for a netbook. I don’t know about you but I like the ability to use my finger for logins and not have to worry about passwords. I’m wondering why this little netbook was left under the dust?
